Default tanabe exhaust just broke in half!!!!!!

so im drivin down the road and i started hearing a leak in my exhaust, i figured it was just the connecting bolts coming loose, so i paid no mind to it, then like 3 miles later i hear something brake loose and my exhaust hits the ground, starts dragging and was completely busted open!!!!!! i come to find out that the exhaust broke in half, right before the mid silencer , where the 2 hangers hold the exhaust up in the middle of the car, it is 2 month old super racing medallion, on my g2 thats lowered, but the lowering has nothing to do with it, it just broke where the weld is, now i have to have it rewelded, which im pissed off because this should have never happed, just thought i would share this with everyone that is considering gettin that exhaust, in my opinion, if i had money to throw away on an exhaust right now i would just buy a new one.........

Did you contact Tanabe? That would be the first thing I would do. If it was a manufacturing defect, you're entitled to a replacement.

well my girlfriends uncle is a certified mechanic thankfully and has a welder, so i took it to him today to have it rewelded, he said it was the worst weld he has ever seen on an exhaust system, so he just rewelded it for me and it should be fine now, still the trouble i had to go through, and think about driving down the road with your exhaust dragging the ground!!!!!!! especially after you only had it for 2 months.........

well i ordered it from enjuku racing in florida, and they sent it directly from tanabe because they didnt have it in stock there, it was the cheapest i could find, aside from the stupid extension piece you need for 92-93, but i should have kept it stock, i think once i get my motor and turbo in im gonna sell the car and buy a wrx..........

its not really worth the time to bitch anyone out, nor is it worth it to take the exhaust off and send it back, its still brand new other then that weld braking and its rewelded now, so im good to go, i would rather just take the time to tell people what happened so maybe they will reconsider buying the exhaust which would result in the company losing sales, i wont buy from them again thats for sure..........
