Default Proper Way to use E-Brake

Well I am experimenting with using the e-brake for overstear. What is the proper way to use it? Do I lift it before turning, or do I do during turning?

Keeping your hand on the steering wheel instead.

Andy - who has never used the e-brake to be faster in 3 years of autox.

I'd rather use the throttle or brakes (not E) to turn my car

The only time I see it as being useful is in extremely tight corners on extremely loose surfaces. Rallying.

If you're on a track, I can't think of a good reason to use it.

If you're on the street, shame on you.

No way! I just do a lurid power slide hella mad drift right into the space. Works everytime... I only e-brake into parking lot spaces when I need to get milk, and cookies before my bedtime story.

Hey, about the yoko es100s. If you can, get the kumho ecsta mx's. I've got the es100's and wish I had opted for the MX's; the es100's just don't fell right, and aren't as good in the wet as I'd hoped.

actually, there is one thing the ebrake is good for when it comes to autocross.... pro solo launches! at the petersburg pro solo i made it into the challenges, and lined up with a DS bmw. i ended up beating him back to the line on the first run. cool, right? nope... on the second run i watched him red light, only to not realise i was rolling forward and redlight myself! oops... so, there ya go. one instance the ebrake can be useful during autocross. any other time you use it, it would cost you time.

The proper way is to use it in emergency situations, or when parking on a hill.
