Default CTR Pistons with TODA B's

CTR Pistons, TODA B cams, and TODA Cam Gears on a B18C1. The TODA gears can only be adjusted plus or minus 5 degrees in each direction. Anyone who has this setup and has tuned the gears, how many degrees did you go? Anyone have piston to valve clearance issues while advancing or retarding the gears?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The furthest either of mine are tuned is -4, this is Toda B's w/ ctr pistons on a b18c5. That is not to say they can't go further, that just happens to be where one of mine is set.

C1 and C5 combustion chambers are different... be aware.

Exactly, which is why I said my set-up was on a c5. Don't know how much of a difference the c1 makes w/ this set-up, so I really can't elaborate.

DEGREE the cams in.....and don't adjust more than 1 degree when on the dyno for testing.....toda has done all the work for you and their settings are almost always dead on if you degree the cams in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I still don't know how to degree cams properly but I hear Cheetah (I believe) suggest the same with Toda cams as far as tuning.

Ok, I found out they can be adjusted up to 5 degrees in either direction. Thanks again for the input.
