OJAS will be posting one of my slowest ET's on Nitrous that I had on Video. 11.8 @ 119 with a 2.1 60ft. It was my very first nitrous run with my 2002 NSX. Don't forget my best on street tires is 11.6 @ 120. I will be running on Sep 6th at an import car shoot out at Beachbend in Bowling Green, KY (if work permits). I will at that time have a drag type radial's and will go from 4.06 gear to a 4.235 (NSX R) gear ratio. I hope to see 12'5's NA and 11'4's on the 100 shot of Nitrous.
I have about 200 pounds shaved off the factory weight of a 2002 NSX. 2910 with a 1/4 tank of gas. I have headers, Carbon Fiber intake, Exhaust, Light weight flywheel and Comptech power grip II clutch. Light wheels and a set of Tein RA's also.
I have recorded a best of 1.03 lat Gs with an accelerometer/G meter. 4.3 second 0-60 times with no nirtous. I will scan my time slips with all my 1/4 mile times next week. Then we will see some folks shutting their traps.

The Wheels are SSR's from Tire Rack. 18x8 and 18x10. The tires are 225-35-18's and 285-30-18's Potenza SO3's. The exhaust system is right out of Japan JGTC Light Weight Center Exit. The total weight of the Exhaust system minus Cats is 16 pounds. I also have a JGTC Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser (painted to match the NSX) installed. The Rear Diffuser completly replaces the factory rear valance. I will ask Ojas to post a few other PICS today.

My NSX has run a 12.8@ 108 NA. This was with a crapy 60ft time. My NSX will run 12'5s easy. I have NSX R gears to install this week. With the gears and some sticky tires 12'5's it will be.
The car next to me was a Mustang 97-98 year model with Slicks, super charger, Nitrous, built motor and bla, bla, bla. 11.3 was his time on that run.

I think that wing is the most tasteless wing I have ever seen on an NSX. It looks like somebody cut it out of sheet metal in his high school metal shop class. Do whatever YOU like, though - it's your car...

 

HEY NSXTASY, well then call TATIEC and complain that you dont like their product. I on the other hand like my Carbon Fiber JGTC wing if you don't TOUGH ****. Dont look at the PICS and dont loose any sleep over it.
At least the wing is the real deal and not some JC Whitney product. It is a fully functional piece of equipment.

I'm not sure you could call YOUR car a sleepr, but I sure as HELL wouldn't expect 11's out of it. Congratulations and BEAUTIFUL ride.

 

Oh yeah and since there is an actual kill in that video, would either of you mind if I post this in The Kills.

Or better yet, do it yourself.

That would be the first NSX I have EVER seen in the 11's.

I've seen of few idiots around here with blowers *try* and drive, but they end up with mid 12's and 2.6 60ft.'s after $10-15k invested.

Easy little one. That is not the attitude or maturity level of a typical NSX owner. If someone doesn't like your mods, it's not a personal attack. Deal with it above the level of a 13 year old. It'd be wise to seperate the two. Car does not = you.
