Default rebuilding engine

Ok my blown motor was recently posted and now I am trying to rebuild it. I just bought a jdm type r head and am looking for a block. I am thinking of ctr pistons over JE. What do you guys think? Also people tell me that ctrs fit right into the b18c5 block without sleeving. Arent they oversized?

stock over aftermarket? ctr are still cast, and can melt and break just as easily as the stock itr ones, id go forged and spend the few extra $
you can get whatever bore you want with JE

BTW being a doushe bag and telling people trying to help you to STFU will get you no where here.

I hardly get into VTEC much anymore (~5600), however ... it's so much fun I find myself doing stuff I never thought I'd be able to/possible in "passing zones".

hehe ... I still have 2 1st Gen CRX turbo projects to finish.
Each of which will probably trounce a stock ITR. </TD></TR></TABLE>

You got a turbo for me?

Chris - who has a rusty '87 crx si just waiting for a turbo, which would probably rip the whole chassis apart (but would be worth it)

Or maybe he has two personalities? One who tells us to STFU and ruins engines, the other who asks for help and drives nicely. LOL!
