What speed (in mph) do you GSR guys redline at?
I don't have a working tach, so my speedo becomes my tach. So I was wondering about you GSR guys. . .It seems my fuel cutoff goes like this (I have a USDM Ecu)
33mph in 1st
63mph in 2nd
92mph in 3rd
??mph in 4th
??mph in 5th
Does that sound about right? Can any of you help me with the 4th and 5th gear mph? Also, if you might know, what about VTEC points? Any help would be great. Thanks.

vtec kicks in at 4400 and the secondaries open up at 5800 on a stock gsr.
my redline are as follows
1st:30
2nd:60
3rd:80
4th:100
5th....the thing just keeps moving until the tach is buried
The reason for this is I have a 4.785 FD and LSD also got an ITR tranny. My gears are short
...sucks for highway driving but its excellent for racing

You telling me that when you race, you "listen" to your engine before you shift? I highly doubt that. I've been driving stick for about 9 years and I still use the Tach to tell me when to shift when racing. Driving around town, sure, use the sound. But when you're racing its better not to guess.

Sorry man, but I did say "redline". . . I figured most people don't drive around town shifting at redline.

I've never hit the limiter in 1st, but...
1st= ~43
2nd= ~64
3rd= ~93
4th I've actually hit the limiter on accident, at 125mph... scary ****
5th= loose guess is that I'd gear out at about 164-165mph

using this tool I came up with this info based on my car configuration. This seems to be about correct though 1st and 2nd seem slightly high. . . not exactly sure why. . . maybe my speedo is a little off.
@8100rpm
1st = 38
2nd= 65
3rd = 91
4th = 120
5th = 158
