I have recently been in a minor accident and my airbags deployed. i have bought one air bag (drivers) about two months ago, now i have the other one, but the red SRS light is still on, can that be reset?

 

yes that can be reset by the dealer or if you do a search here you will find out.

 

if my srs light is still on, does that mean that my new airbags wont deploy??

 

I was told by my Honda dealer that if the SRS light is on, your airbags are not activated (will not deploy).

did you change the control module? if you didn't, then your airbags most likely wouldn't deploy. if you did change the complete setup (both airbags and control module), they will deploy in an accident. the control module is a one-time use type of thing; you have to replace it when replacing airbags. if everything is changed, do a search on here and find the instructions on how to reset the srs light.
