Re: SRS light (QUICKERSILV3R)
if an airbag is out then its impossible to reset the srs light. disconnecting the battery wouldn't ever reset the light, btw. you have to do it through the memory erase wire (do a search).

Re: SRS light (QUICKERSILV3R)
I just did this on my EG. Just pull the gauge cluster and unplug the yellow harness on the back of the cluster that makes the SRS light turn on.

doesn't work. you have to jump the SRS plug a certain way.. do a search.

Re: SRS light (QUICKERSILV3R)
I've got the came problem after buying a POS from this dude, anyway I was told that you have disconnect the battery put both shorting plugs in and then reconnect the battery and then wait for the light to go out. Then obviously put it all back together. the plugs are located 1 on the left hand side of the steering wheel the other behind the top of the glove box. I haven't done it yet because I am a lazy MF good luck

Re: SRS light (dogpile5)
THIS POST IS THE BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD!!!!
It took me a few tries only because I didn't let what I had read sink in!
This fix should be the first thing one should see when you sign in to this forum.
This worked on a 99 Civic DX
The dealer wanted a minimum of 1 hour to hook my car up to their machine........
I am glad I decided to look deeper for a "work around" such as this post!!!
who ever came up with this fix gets my vote for president in 2004!!!

Re: SRS light (QUICKERSILV3R)
Will this "fix" work on the 2002's? I made the mistake of removing my drivers seat to tighten up some loose bolts, SRS light is now on.
Thanks,

why don't you try it and tell us. the worst thing that could happen is the light won't reset. just make sure you use the right plug, you probalby wouldn't want to unplug the actual airbag plug and jump the wires.
Thanks,

Did it, took about 2 minutes to complete the entire procedure, AND IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for all the help and the e-mail's "guys". SRS light works as it did before I removed my drivers side seat.
BTW, I used a paperclip to perform the procedure, real cheap "fix".
Thanks again,
ScottyJ
