That's what I was thinking.

"The Ravelco Antitheft Device has an unparalleled track record of success. No other auto security device even comes close. With 27 years in business and millions of installations worldwide, not one vehicle equipped with Ravelco has ever been stolen!"

I think that's streching it. The only way I could see that being true is if only 100 cars had this installed world wide, and they were peices of crap cars.

Throw that thing on an ITR and give it a week. it'll be gone.

I don't see how the wiring on that would be any more difficult to bypass than on a normal ignition.

Yeah, you have to put it on yourself but they suggest you have a "qualified" mechanic install it, but I agree with the post above about it being just as easy to bypass.

there is another device similar to that but better, its called magic. even if you have the keys you cant start the car without swiping a keychain across a hiden sensor. it works good because nobody knows its there.

This ravelco seems like a worthy product. If you check out their site they say that they have 3.5 million people who have it and not 1 have ever been reported stolen. That seems amazing to me but I would research more on it just in case they aren't as good as they say they are.

bump.
there's something about having metal braided shielding on the wires, and also the wires are all black so you can't tell them apart.
anyone else?
