Default Look yo. Took myB18b non-vtec DX coupe to the track.

Well i finally got my bottle filled on tuesday and i went to see what it would run with the 60Hp dry shot of NOS. The first time slip is the only run i did without the bottle. Second one is the best time on the bottle. It ran 7 passes at 13.6. The car is a 97 Civic dx coupe with a B18b1. Motor is all stock, has a b16 transmisson, act 12lb flywheel and hd\ss clutch. Also it has a JDM DC 4-1 header with test pipe and DC stainless cat back. Other mods include AEM V2 intake and AEM FPR. I put one step colder plugs in and retarded the timing 2 degrees. I was pretty happy with the way the car ran. These runs are on street tires which are 205\50\15 yokohama a-o32rh's. They had about 18psi of pressure and the car was spinning bad thru 1st and 2nd gear. Well enough talk here are the slips and a pic of my motor. Any questions or comments post them up yo. Non vtec bitch.

Well thanks for looking. Im gonna get some slicks and up it to a 75hp shot and see how far i can get into the 12's.

VERY impressive...that transmission is money tho, with an LS transmission you'd still be in the 14's...

its amazing what little things like retarding timing and lowering psi can do for your quarter mile time

very good times indeed. I wonder how much slower it would have been with the LS tranny. Do you end up in 5th gear by thte time you cross the line? LS motor and SI tranny = not much top speed.

very good times. Did you ever get a chance to run the car without the b16 tranny? did it make a difference?
