Can i weld this fitting on my TURBO OIL OUTLET FLANGE?

Default Can i weld this fitting on my TURBO OIL OUTLET FLANGE?

I WANT TO WELD THIS FITTING BELOW.............



to my oil return flange on my TURBO, like in this pic.



see, i don't want to do what this guy is doing, that's dangerous to me, so i want to saw the metal tube off the flange and weld that fitting on top! is it possible? and also what material should i use? how can i check what material my oulet flange is?

ummm....


Buy the 1/2" npt outlet for the turbo and screw a 1/2" to -10 adapter into the oil outlet on the turbo.

hey make an adaptor plate for the outlet that has a 1/2 in. hole. then u buy a 1/2 in. fitting with whatever AN size you want...

if it is aluminum i don't think you can, it will burn and melt.
