I'll buy it if it was all at one track. I've been to or heard of tracks that consistantly run about 2 - 3 tenths faster than many of the other tracks around. Its possible for him to be knocking off a few tenths due to a slight downward slope in the track or something like that.

EDIT *** Also, what kind of rubber was this one?

You have the highest HP 1g B16A ever created.

2250lbs better be including driver, otherwise, you are REALLY stretching the truth.

Let's analyze this...

you get a 160bhp engine. Add a DC header (maybe worth 5hp, dynoed) and an CAI (worth 2-3hp). you now have, MAYBE a 175hp to the crank B16A1.

Dyno that badboy, and you'll be lucky to see 160hp.

Know how much HP it takes to get a 2250lb car to do 14.00 at 97mph? That's right, 160-170hp to the wheels!!

Amazing!

I think you're full of it, but, whatever makes you sleep at night.

Unless, of course, you forgot to mention the 50 shot you have...

"slip"

It's not like a scanned timeslip couldn't be doctored in 3 minutes flat.

I'd prefer to hear 3rd party testimonial or video as proof.

he would be lucky to gain 2 hp from that header and maybe 1 hp from that intake. (note* that he didnt say which aem intake)

also i have more mods than that and i dont even dyno 160.

this is definatley a bs thread.

theirs a guy on this thread that managed to pull off 14.4 with stock internals, but im not sure if that was on drag slicks.

if all of our cars weighed like 1880 pounds we would only need 210 hp to the wheels or so to run 11s all motor haha. go ef-9 ef-8

I say it should be a forum rule that if you dont have a slip and you post a time your thread should be locked. 3 warnings and a ban.

i had an 89 DX with a 92 XSi engine, I/H/E, UR pulley, the car weighed 1925 without me in it (i weighed 170), the car ran a best of 14.1@96 on slicks. So i could believe his time on slicks, but the weight just gets me cuz that seems heavy. This was done at Rockingham Dragway in NC.

thanks for bragging.

I like how you offered a counter-point but used a different set-up, engine, and weight.

your post was about as useful as mine.

oh, my 2000 Maxima did 14.90@96mph with 18" wheels and a y-pipe...no nitrous, no engine swap, just a land barge with roughly 230hp to the crank and bling bling 18s.

Seriously though... this thread is BS.
