Default Which ECU will I need????

I've tried and tried looking all over the internet on specs for a D15B Vtec-E motor (I know I know...its crappy), which is currently in my DX coupe now, I was wondering what ECU do I need for my Vtec-E to engage or can I use one from another SOHC Vtec motor????

Im currently running my old DX ECU and my car red lines at 3500-4000 rpms, so I really need it bad.

Any suggestions????

Thanks alot!

well the P30 is the OBDI USDM b16a ECU...so the OBD II equivalent would be the p2t from the 99-00 b16a civic si

the thing with the vtec-e engines is that they are lean burn and run a 5 wire. They also have dual chips on the motherboard instead of 1 like all the rest.

they are an enigma to me

Most of the people I talk to say the same thing...its a long story on how I landed with a d series motor in my car.

Hmm. I have a 97 b16a2 motor in my 96 civic and I am using the P30 ECU. I know its not an OBD1 because I dont have a conversion harness. How can that be then?
