I'm trying to get my new pwr radiator in my car to make some room to run new charge piping for my turbo and I'm not having much luck getting this thing to fit in properly. I was led to believe that the z10 cross member was designed with the smaller radiator in mind and that it would be a drop in kind of thing. Comments?? here are some pics.
Does the rad actually sit on those mounts? Or are you going to have to fab something up? Also, you can clock your turbo so that it will face away from the crossmember. If that doesnt work.....pull out the sawzall and the welder.
I thought you were supposed to specify to Z10 what kind of radiator feet you wanted. Oh well, I have nothing great to say about them. Especially their customer service. It ******* blows.

NO, its not even close to the mounts. I can clock it whereever but where it is in the pic is giving the most clearance. I'm thinking about drilling into the crossmember to give the feet on the radiator somewhere to go.

They never mentioned it over a year ago when i bought the damn things. I just assumed that it was engineered into it. Doesn't matter anyway, even with no mounts on there it would sit the radiator to high. this sucks
YEah....I have to admit, if you do not say anything about the mounts, you get the stock setup. Go to a junk yard and find some 92-00 rad mounts and cut them off with a sawzall or something. Or use your old ones....weldthose things on the back side of the cross member. That way it will sit low enough.

Adam,
I can clearly see from the picture you posted that you have the Radius Arm Kit for
use with a STANDARD CRX Radiator, If you want the Kit that uses the Civic Style radiator you have to specify that when ordering. The kits are diffrent and one wont work with the other. The only diffrences are the mounting cups on the bar.
Heres a picture of both the top one for use with a civic radiator. and the lower is the standard CRX One.
If you have any problems just give us a call our customer support is available mon - fri 8am - 5pm EST.
Thanks,

that pwr radiator looks alot like my koyo, as soon as i borrow a digi cam ill get pics. keep in mind i am using the place crossmember...
my radiator stuck up about as much as yours, and i had problems w/ it clearing the hood, so i ended up dremeling out a small portion of the headlight support and drilled a hole in they hoot support so that it would fit the rubber grommet that the little bar slides into. ill get pics as soon as i can.

Considering the owner of the company answered your post,
I would say the customer service is improving...
