Hello Everyone,
i know the best way to setup an oil line with oem oil pressure sensor and after market gauge is to have a line go from your block to sensors to the head...
[Block]====TT====[Head]
"T" = Brass T connections with Sensors
"=" = Oil Line
..right now i only have the OEM sensor that is T'ed off the block but i might get a AutoMeter Gauge soon..so i was wondering if itll be alright to put another T off the Head for the after market gauge??
[Block]T======T[Head]???
-10k
Just taking advantage of my diagram skills...
Current Configuration:
[Block]T======[Head]
Wrong way to do it:
[Block]TT======[Head]

yeah..thats the way that your not suppose to do it..
..because it hangs far off the block and adds more weight because its more stuff and it has a higher risk of breaking.. but, glad you dont have any problems with it..and good luck! i think im gonna just lose my OEM sensor and replace it with the AutoMeter gauge...

says who... so many people say so many things... that really dont have any experiance with anything... going off their own stupid "theories"
here is a theory... when the car is running, you have about 50PSI in that little stick sticking out... with 50PSI of oil, it acts like a rod, holding it in place....
here is another theory... take the weight of that tree... 5 oz's.... calculate w/ the force needed to break it including the leverage because of the longer T and see how many lbs of force it takes to break it.
so regardless of how and how you arnt supposed to do it, thats the way I did it
you could just buy a golden eagle oil fitting that goes onto your oil filter for clean oil pressure.
