Custom Piping+Univ.Muffler vs. Aftermarket Big Bucks Exhaust
Well, just looking at my options and wanted to know what you guys think... Considering both Performance and costs. I beleive overall it's cheaper to go custom, but is it worth it, is it just as good performance-wise...?
custom piping is usually crush/press bent aluminum piping.... unless its from kteller
i'd rather go custom for less than 200 than spend 400-500 on name brand stainless steel mandrel bent....
and spend that extra 200 on a cam or something

I have 2.5 inch mandral bent stainless from my cat all the way back. While I got a hell of a deal on the stainless (40 dollars) I believe that even if you didn't you could get the piping for 100 and weld it up your self. I used 4 90 degree elbows and less than 10 feet of piping. Of course having a full shop with every tool I needed came in really handy
Yeah I'm finishing mine up, so far its really nice and very inexpensive, but it does help when you can weld everything your self. If I can make it, I wont buy it.
