Default 3" mandrel bending??Really that necessary?

Just need to know is it truly that necessary to have mandrel bending on the exhaust piping? I know most will say yes go for mandrel but I need to budget somewhat so is it really that necessary to have the custom exhaust piping I am gonna place to go mandrel bent??? Thanks poeple

Crushed bent 3" piping has an inner diameter of 2.5" at the bends.

You dont wanna skimp on piping. Make it all mandrel bends.. which means your I/C pipes and your exhaust pipe. Have the ends of your I/C pipes beaded so the couplers can hold on better, preventing you from blowing off your pipes.
