Default Full Race Manifolds

is it worth the extra $1000+ to switch over to one??

what type of gains are we talking about here. i know that itll help spool and power, but how much power exactly(not looking for exact numbers b/c i know that its different for all set ups, but approximately how much)

basically, is it worth the money?

Yes from what I've seen posted and heard it is definitely worth the money.

If you can live without a/c it's definately worth it. That's the reason why I dont plan on getting one.

I can't see paying that much for it...but if you have the money go for it.

it's a nice product and the thick piping is sure not to crack.

and from what i've seen, faster spool and more power</TD></TR></TABLE>

more power you say, but how much are we looking at? 10, 20? whats a rough estimate, say at like 8 psi?

If you want the best then go Full Race! I like the quality much more than my old DRAG manifold and also my Maximum Performance equal length manifold I had. Spools up quick even with my old T3/60-1 with an .82 A/R turbine housing and Stage 5 wheel.

Geoff....do you guys have any dyno charts with any other manifolds. I will have to talk to John...Vapor when I get my car dynoed. I am curious to see what your manifold will do vs. my SFP race manifold. Same setup...just different manifolds.

OT: When do you graduate from college? Have you ever gone to any FSAE events?

Our Full Race is still perfect..nothing has cracked..and we are not using any extra bracing on it..even though Geoff told us we should to be safe

I dont think a # can be put on it. Its all relative to your setup. you may gain 10 or ,aybe 75 depnding on how well your previous manifold flowed compared to the Full-race. i made 559whp@22psi with one. thats a low level of boost for the HP in my opinion. this is directely related to me switching from a revhard log to a fullrace and also a turbonetics turbo to precision turbo. i made only 522@26psi on the previous setup before making the switch to full race.

also, remember one thing. there are many people that can attempt to duplicate the manifolds design. there are more and more coming out that look the same. the power is not made in how it looks, its how the collector and the degree of bends are designed that makes power.full race is an innovator not an imitator. they are worth the money if you are serious about getting all the Hp you can out of your setup.

I was gonna say something like that, but Mike makes it sound much better then I could describe it.

one tight radius 90 degree bend flows worse than 2 1/2 long radius 90s...

http://pump.net/frictiondata/friclossfittings.htm

ken should stick to selling turbos, rather than seeing how people make manifolds, then biting.
