Here's another site that sells ball and spring type MBCs.

EDIT: I've also heard that the ball and spring is better than the ones using needle vlaves (or whatever they're called). The ball and spring will allow you to reach full boost sooner. And I've also heard that they are more stable and predictable then EBCs that use stepper motors or solenoids to control boost.

Ball and spring boost controllers are very simple to make and require only a couple of dollars worth of parts. Search around on the internet and you will find some instructions to make several different styles. I have even seen people take two homemade ball and spring boost controllers and an electric bypass make a two stage boost controller. I personally will just stick with my profec b.

 

my needle valve bleeder mbc that i built works just fine. max boost quick. heck of a lot cheaper and way easier to instal than an ebc.

 

I prefer the ball and spring style hands down over the bleeder style.
Bleeder style will make your turbo work slightly harder, increasing temp. Not much, but on my old setup it was enough to cause me problems.
