abs light is on... what do i check first
abs light just went on and i know that i need to resurface or replace my rotors..and my brake pads are fine...what else do i need to check on?

When you start the car you will hear the ABS modulator do a self-test (buzzing noise for 1-3 sec.) If the Modulator (In Right Front of engine bay w/ lines coming out of it and fluid res) does not build pressure, it may continue buzzing for 15 s. and then set the ABS light.
The rebuilt part from Acura is unfortunately $700. You can find them out of salvage cars off Ebay for less than $100.
I just bought a 94 GSR w/ this problem and will be fixing it with a part out of an 01.

check the reservoir...fill as needed...then see if its still on and post back

Thats the problem i have too...the self test goes off for about 15 seconds coming from the ABS Modulator. I hope i don't have to fork out much to get this fixed. Ill try filling the res first.
