im curious as to what tranny you are using. id say that you need to work on your 60's a bit. try to get into the low 2.2's. but with your trap speed of only 91 i dont think you are going to get that time down very much.
and definately try to remove a good 200 lbs off your car.
but then again i took out 100lbs last time i went to the track and i couldnt even knock off 1 tenth of a second
what are you revving the motor to considering you didnt build the bottom end???

im revving the motor to 8 grand sometimes even a lil more... how do i improve 60ft times?
i wish i coulda built it up a lil more but the cash just wasnt there.

that's a pretty heavy set up you have there, loose some weight on the car or make more power to improve your times. what tranny did you use? good #'s but they would be better #'s in a lighter chassis!
I find it hard to believe that car weights over 2500 lbs. (96 hatch is same model, and weight 2288,with a B20 installed)I have a crx 90 that weights 2325 with me in it.The motor is a B20B block, with B20z pistons plus some block planing to bring the pistons flush.A gsr head with type r internals, and Hondata.Best et of 12.92@108,with slicks and 4.4 lsd trans
60 foot 1.85
1/8 mile of 8.20
Also A LAMINAR ported and polished head
Thanx hope that was some help

My 99 weighed 2515 off the showroom floor. Add my 230lbs to that and it was a tank.
A couple years ago I had an LSVTEC in my 99 with 10.8:1 compression and a stock 1st gen b16 head and I managed 14.3 @ 95 on my first time out. That was stock TB IM stock header...etc. I was probably making the same power as you. I think your MPH is pretty low for that setup. I would think you could squeeze 175 out of that with the Hondata. Good luck. You should be pulling 96-97mph or so with that setup depending on your elevation.

i know on stock 2000 ++ golfs, mad wheel hop was a result of too soft a suspension, the car would tilt backward so much that front tirest lost the valuble traction,
you never listed your supension mods, which are not to be forgoten.
get stiffer rear shocks and springsso that your car doesnt compress all the way at the back at start up.
also you said you had hondata, but did you fool around with it, or just install it and hope for the best? If that was the case id suggest spending a whole day at a dyno with a knowledgable programer working out the bugs.

right now i have apexi shocks and springs.... im planning on buying eibach sport springs in a few. i will be going to the hondatech day over at e-town on the 2nd of august.
car was tuned with about 10 pulls on the dyno with a very reputable tuner here ny.

get your hands on a 00 si tranny, you'll see the difference! or buy 3/4 gears from a 00 si, take your tranny to a tranny shop and have them replace those two gears. you'll have gsr 1/2 si 3/4, and gsr 5th. that would make a nice tranny set up!
