The LS rods will need some work done to them for it to work.
You can just buy my LS rods all machined and bushed for a D16 (arp rod bolts + acl bearings) for $200shipped.

I was just wondering if there is any significant difference between the eagles for d16s and b18s. My friend has a set of eagle b18 rods that he would sell to me real cheap. I already knew I was going to have to notch the block for either set.

ok well eagles is a different story...for the most part d16 and b18 Eagle rods are the same strength however, just like stock LS rods you will have to get them machined to fit the stock d16 crank.
you might consider this, that the shops i've talked to quote me about $150 to get them machined...now is your friends price for the LS Eagles + $150 still cheaper than the price for a new set of d16 eagles???
