Default Clicking Sound under acceleration and deceleration

Well it finally stopped raining for a few days so I could take my car in to have it looked at. I took the writer for a drive and he heard the clicking noise, and the tech took it for a drive.

They said its normal!?!
Caused by floating brake pads.

Anyone have any knowledge of this? Can brake pads cause a clicking sound?

Heres the description of the clicking sound:

Check the passenger side axle.

Hey, goern-r replied to your "limited slip - fried post" and he has since been back to the dealership as well. At first they told him it was because his car was too low? However further questioning of them resulted in the same excuse as your car... brake pads.
Maybe he will chime in on this thread and share more info with you. He's sick at home this week, so he's probably surfing h-t from time to time.

It is NOT the brake pads.

It is either an axle or something with the LSD.

Yep, or diff. The axles can click in a straight line but I've only expereicned that in really-fucked up axles so I'm not sure that's the problem, but check it out.
