Default Headers 4-2-1 VS 4-1

I am looking into buying headers for my EJ1 LS. I dont know if i want to go with 4-2-1 or 4-1. Any Suggestions?

4-2-1 is for low to mid power. 4-1 is for high end power

you need to look at header designs...you can make a 4-1 that makes mad low end but then again it will restrict your top end and vice versa...you have to look and see where your car spends most of its time or else you could be just spending usless money...

A 4-2-1 has more ground clearance...look at Hytech or the replicas for a great header

Its only an LS so it redlines aroud 7200..I dont beat on it at all so i think ill go with 4-2-1 just for from lower power I cant see to find DC 4-2-1 but ill keep looking

Do you have a V8 in there that requires two headers? LOL

I say go with a 4-2-1 design.

No but i do have 4 cylinders so there for it would be headers

no. you have a singular header. if you had 4 individual pipes coming off each cylinder exiting on their own then you could say you had headers. but all the pipes connect with each other hence, header.
