I bought a motor from a person on H-T and Im PRETTY sure they told me they were darton sleeves but I might be mistaken. But I just hit 2000 the other day and took it in to autowave to make sure everything was ok. well there was a coolant problem and we added coolant and he added some water and then everything went back to normal. he said that I was possibly burning coolant and that the reason was because I had goldeneagle sleeves and they shifted or someting. well So I was going to contact the person I bought the motor from but today while driving to the store I stopped at a red light and my car stalled( I was in neutral). I was puzzled for a second and thought maybe I had it in gear or something. so I start it and there was a LOUD *** metal knocking sound and I turned the car off immediatly and called a tow truck and had them tow it to auotwave. they called me and said my motor was blown but they hadnt taken my head off or oil pan or anything yet. I told them to wait until I talked to the person I got the motor from. I dont know what I should do. I purchased the LAST of my turbo set up the other day, and I dont know if I should have him figure out what is wrong for sure with my motor and have al the labor charges of that or what, cause Im pretty low on cash right now and SURELY dont have enough to pay for another block. and help, information, and expiriences with this would be GREATLY appreciated. thanks
