met dave @ super-t and took a inside look?!?
Just wanted to comment after I made an 18+ hour trip with no rest.
This has been somewhat of a debated issue I think with some about dave and his claimed quality of work for a reasonable price.
I wanted to try to address this in my opinion, not from a negative or flaming standpoint on anyone... bear that in mind... but from a 1st hand criticism.
OK, so...
After the massive drive up and the supposed speed limits I was to abide... I finally make it up to see super-t's shop and work first hand. I had my doubts sometimes (wouldn't you) along the way but kept a positive outlook.
Shop was very clean and organized without the typical clutter found in some operations... things were in their place or had an immediate purpose it seemed.
First look around and I notice all the miller equiptment in their places
... including the much loved plasma torch. Also I could not help but spot his truck under the knife and the monster t72/ downpipe for it, among 2jz and a stockpile of other parts. Noticed too the amount of material stock for the fab work... and he seems to be well supplied.
Dave is a nice guy, I must say to wait for me at 11:00pm on a saturday and bs till 1:30am... he gets a
on that one. Coming that far was planned but I had some delays, but he worked with me.
So anyways my initial opinion on dave and his operation is...
, he seems to be no bullshit... just hardcore performance at a pretty reasonable price.
Well in a month I may have more opinions either positive or negative time will tell but thus far I would rate this as a positive experience.
Agian dont get me wrong but you have to give credit sometimes were credit is due. I know some might not like me for posting this and I would not be suprised to see other opinions... which is no problem... everyone has and can have their own.
Thanks for take a minute to read through but I just had to share.

I never thought dave was a bad guy, I plan on getting his mani & downpipe - if not his whole kit. Looks great (I know, my opinion )

Dave aka SuperT was banned from Honda Tech.
We are still not sure the real reason why. No explanation was given. A transaction took place a year ago that dave sold some parts to a guy private party and the guy was not happy(which he has every right to be) Dave provided HT with UPS tracking numbers showing the merchandise was delivered and also provided the Credit Chargeback Information that showed the customer got a Full refund, so obviously that isn't why he was really banned. Personally, I think it was due to his overly cocky posts challenging another turbo header manufacturer on the board, for which I warned him not to be so aggressive.
Those who know Dave, though, know he is just really competitive and passionate...
Thanks for the Kind words about our shop...we are proud of what we are doing here and take pride in the customers happiness and success. I hope you made it home safe to St Louis
We should be coming down for the NOPI drag wars on July 28 and 29th with the drag truck, so I hope to see you there
We are in the midst of hiring another employee on to help speed up the turn around time so we are really excited about the future...

I'm not too suprised about the good post in his behalf. I've IM'd him a couple times and he was nothing but pleasent. Too bad 304 is better

Made it back ok... thanks... pretty tired from the direct turn around.
Hopefully the new employee is as good as dave... some of the quality I think comes from daves attitude toward it... seems to be something he takes great pride in.
Whatever the reason he is no longer in this specific forum... let the past be the past I think at this point but who am I to say what should happen.
