I must have the worst luck just reply on what you think. Sorry its long but this is my memory.

I have been working for about a year on saving money and getting my hb right to go up to english town with some friends. I finnally get the car boosted but it isn't tuned yet (hondata s200b). the week before my vacation it is crunch time and Im trying to get my car tuned on a saturday and I leave to go up north on a tuesday to chill have and have some fun with the car that I poured everything into. on the way up to the dyno which was like six hours away in NC greensboro my cam seals decide to blow out on 95 half way during my trip to the dyno, I must have bought ang used about 12 quarts and I stopped every 30 mins to top off the oil. I somehow made it to the dyno without blowing my motor after the worst gut wrenching drive of my life. I was there for about 6 hours and somehow managed to find cam seals from some place in nc and took care of that I got on the dyno did my thing and made 236 and 178 @ 8 psi on my b16. I felt great my car was running perfect, car has never ran this good to me, so it is monday (memorial day) the day before I make my trip, I went to savvannah to pick up some decent sticky dunlop tires for my trip of course I didnt get them because the guy was not there were I had to pick them up so I said **** it and I was on my way home. the good part is coming, some bitch decided to hit her brakes so I mash my pedal and switch lanes I avoided her and I dont now how, now Im in the next lane sideways going 65mph spinning and I had to make a life threating decision. GAS or BRAKE, I hit the gas and spooled up and took off to the other side of the road and went in to a ditch and I rolled my baby twice.

bad ****** luck I made it out with just a few scratches and a raped HB.

my car addiction has almost costed me a divorce and many other day to day probs, but for some odd reason I want to do it agian. I built my car for this one good vacation and to try to get some good times and this all happened the day b4. is that Ironic.

There is harley n e front end damage though and all I can think about is building a monster ls in a EG and boost 25 lbs.

just voice your opinoin should I do it I will have the right funds and I just need to sell my old set up.

If rebuilding will get you a divorce, I suggest to not take the risk. But if your wife is alright with it. Why not?! Enjoy your hobby while you still have the time!

Dude it sucks that you rolled your baby. I've been in similar situations where people drive stupid around me too often. I say new project. Now if the wifey loves you she would support your decisions. Being a car enthusiast is a safe hobby, it's not like your dealing crack... or doing other stupid ****.

I knwo its a fun/addicting hobby but keep the things in your life prioritized. What is more important, only u can decide.

mann, I remember doing that on I-95
same **** happened: bitch hit her brakes
one of my rear calipers locked and I was sideways in the grass median..
came inches away to hitting oncoming traffic
I gave it GAS and steered away.
Get a Quaife on your next car, or at least LSD!

That sux man... I remember a while back, I had low tread left on my tires and spun out the EG while taking an on-ramp. I know the feeling... good thing yer ok.

Just tell the wife, "Listen, honey... I can spend the money on the car and be happy... OR... spend the money on the honeys down at the Strip Club and be happy... what you prefer ?"

Cars is a hobby, unless it's your occupation. I don't think it's worth a marriage, but that depends on how good the marriage is.

 

damm man your lucky to be alive. looks pretty bad. ya cars are fun. but you gotta think about whats more important i life. its really not uth loosing someone you love so much. what are ya gunna do with the salvagable stuff?

 

Im gonna try to sell all my **** together for about 6000 hondata dyno tuned jdm b16a you know the works for a 12 sec 4 banger with 240 hp. I got to pay off a loan, find a eg and drop a ls and let the big boost begin Im just gonna do everything right and try to take my time, me and the wife are gonna have a discussion about it tonight so I will let you guys know.

TURBO TUNE in greensboro NC is a great tuner and he knows his ****, real good prices. 100 a hour dyno tuned and we fixed my cam seals and some other **** too.
