wow so that gain is only from swithing to the Mugen PR3 ecu? would it be better to get that ecu or for the same money get hondata s200 for the PR3 ecu?

just curiouse.

stock b20b pistons. according to c-speedracing.com, it's approximately 9.3:1 compression.

As far as the comment on mugen vs hondata, I think the power gain came evenly from straight pipe and the pr3 ecu. This mugen program does a good job, but the graphs are still pretty rough and there are dips in the curve. If I had hondata, those dips will be gone and graph will be smooth. And also where as mugen program is fixed program, with hondata you could optimize power with your custom setup.

$600 that you spend for a vtec head will yield a lot more power than $600 you'll spend modding a non-vtec b20.

bet it does too, ... but I bet yours cost more to build And the other B20, my buddy runs his own performance shop, builds and Tunes his own motors and works in conjunction with RPMNYC. Of course, his wont be stock putting out those #'s, but that's his "prediction", not reality. Frankly, I think it will be close, and the fact its going in a mint CRX will make it deadly!!!

You'd greatly benefit from a header, full 2.5" header-back exhaust piping, and some fuel tuning.

You should be hitting 180 whp and 140 tq easy with that setup.

Actually, it is going to run on pump gas.. How am I braggin? Im just sayin for a B20, that dosent impress me, ITR's make those #'s stock. B20 in general cant be a cheap motor to build. I could be wrong though.
