OT: off to chemo
Well i just wanted to ask for your prayers because I am off to get full body chemo today and for you medical people the chemicals i'm going to get are carboplatin through IV and Xeloda chemo pills everyday. I hope this shrinks the tumors in my lungs , lymph nodes and liver. They told me my chances are not with me and that me making it past 2 years even with the chemo working would be unlikely. I just want some hope from you guys because I'm young, strong and they have never experienced this kind of cancer with a young person. Keep me in your prayers and I'll let you know when your prayers are answered. Thanks h-tech buddies.

I cant imagine how hard it is. Its good to hear you arent severlly depressed. life is what you make of it, and it seems like you are handling this like a growing experience.
Best of luck to you.
on another note, my friends mom just went through chemo and beat it. Doctors said that she wouldnt make it through it. your mental power over how you percieve everything makes a difference. She thought in her heart that she was going to keep living and beat out the cancer. She did, you just need to believe its not your time to leave and you will be fine and fully recovered soon.
Best of luck to you.

Thomas-
I've been praying for you ever since I first heard about your situation and will continue to do so. Keep your head and your spirits high- since my ordeal with the bitch, cancer, I've met so many survivors and many who were told the same thing as you were. There's ALWAYS hope!
Look into some alternate medicines too, if you haven't already- I'm confident that they helped me tremendously. Be strong, we're all pulling for you

Thomas, my thoughts and prayers have always been with you. We all know you can beat this you are young and strong, and like you said they (doctors) have not seen this kind of cancer in someone soo young. So how do they know what to expect? I know deep down that you will make it through this Thomas. I will continue to pray for you and good luck with your chemotherapy. I hope all goes well and you are okay. Stay strong and you wil come out on top. Best of luck Thomas, and you know I am here for you for whatever you shall need.

Best of luck and stay strong.... as someone else said- don't listen to the doctors odds on things. I have had family members who weren't supposed to be here for more than a few years with cancer, but with chemo and determination they easily passed those 2 years and many many more.
Good luck
Good luck
I am a bit familiar with this since my father beat lung cancer a few years ago.
Why won't they operate is my question? At your age, it won't be a risky surgery compared to someone in their 60's. If you don't want to discuss it, it's okay and good luck again.
