Default New Rad. New Head Gasket. New Water Pump New etc. Still OVERHEATING!!!!

95 Honda Civic EX coupe 1.6L V-tec Engine
This is what happened in the last two weeks:
-new radiator
-new Head Gasket
-new timing belt
-new water pump
-new thermo

** Still overheating when i'm stopped at a red light or in idle.
What can be the problem???
- bad thermo switch?
- bad o2 sensor?
- bad fan? (fan doesn't start until 2 or 3 minutes after I'm in idle, then it stops after 5 seconds)

My Theory:
I have a bad fan relay or switch. Any Suggestions will be appreciated. I'm sick and tired of driving in the heat. Please I need help!!!!!!!!

My fan just wouldn't come on at all...It wasn't the thermo sensor...was whatever turns on the fan itself, fan relay? Anyhow I just hooked up a toggle switch to where I can turn the fan on from inside the car. When I drive it cools it off enough not to use it, but if I'm caught in traffic or likewise too long it save me. Pull the plug off the top of the rad, the part of the plug coming from the engine should have 2 points inside where you can test the voltage. Ohm it out, if it doesnt read then I would assume that is your problem. Anyone else have some ideas? Hope I could help, pretty tired, but good luck w/ that.

Yeah, a new temp switch should do it. They have a bad habit of going out and half of the 12 hondas i've owned had the same problem. Just get a new one from Honda.

The part # is 37760-P00-004

Here i'll make it easy for you...

The brass looking thing is the thermo temp switch. It's located on your thermostat housing. It has a plug on the switch also. You unplug the plug, get a open end wrench or a pair of vice grips and unscrew it. A little coolant comes out but not that much. Install the new one in reverse and plug the plug back in and your good to go. Easy install.
