Default Would this cause sloppy steering?

The car drifts from side to side. It's a split in the subframe where the rack and pinion bolt to. I'm pretty sure this is the problem I just wanted to get a 2nd opinion from other techs. TIA.

I am guessing that plays a major roll in the steering issue.

Ur left wheel must move a hell of a lot. Did you have ur springs cut or somthing?

I hit a super huge pothole in Baltimore, MD. You should see the tranny, oil pan, and headers.

If I hold the steering wheel really tight and I accelerate it pulls to the right and if I let off the gas it pulls to the left. I'm always counter-steering. I did not have my springs cut, just smacked a huge pothole.

Swap that out for a good used unit before it totally breaks.

lol, welcome to my world Well, before i did my bushings anyhow.
And i would definatly have to agree that thats at least 75% responsible for the crap steering. Hey, while your at the yard you should try to pick up some 90-91 teg or civic ex hubs/rotors since your gonna have to align it anyhow

I know, I felt it when I drove your car that one night.

I did that already about 2 years ago so no need to do it again, they're still fine.

Dude, if that is happening in your car, I should take a really close look at the Rally Civic before my race in two weeks....

I have the Place Racing front cross member, does anyone build a better rack cross member??

I would highly suggest it no matter what mileage is on your car. What surprised me were the cracks where the rear motor mount was. I only saw the one underneath at first. I'm glad I had my camera in the car too.
