I just recieve my keyless door handles today, and got them in...this is how they look like on my car....

wow, totally changes the look of the car. Where'd you pick those up from? How much? Are they just the rear handles of the 4-doors?

These are just the rear door handles from a 4dr EK...

 

Hmmm... beginning to think I should do that to mine.

 

I've heard rear door handle from accord works too, does anyone know the list of handles will fit? I'm going to the junk jard for some big shopping in 2 wekks.

Door handles are a pain in the *** to take out

Yea I know, took me about an hour trying to pop the old handles out....

From the looks of your pic, well worth the effort.

 

Did everything bolt up just fine, with your auto lock?

 

How did you take them out? Obviously you have keyless entry right?

 

Does anyone know if this works the same for the 92-95's? It looks like it will but just want to make sure.

Enter thru the hatch or trunk, the seats flip down. Oh and yes any year with a 4 dr model avail, you can use the rear handles, been thinking bout doing the same. Just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Yep, you can do it to a 92-95 Civic. It just takes a little imagination to get it to work properlt. The 4dr handles are a little off from the 2dr's. But after all of the figuring out and when you get it done, it looks NICE.

 

how exactly did you take care of the door lock rods?? like where did you tuck them at so they don't hang up or what not??

pic of them in the door before you closed it all up?? shame on you if you didn't

 

That's sweet.. I just pick up some from a four, for cheap..

 

Looks good I was thinking about doing that with my EG when I install my power door lock actuators. Have you run into any problems so far, or is everything operating smoothly?

Yes it works the same...Just use the rear door handles of a 4dr that is the same year as you car....

The rod that holds the key lock, you can just break that off...there is no need for it after you have put the rear door handles in...Yes I do have autuators for my doors...If battery dies or something happens, I will just go thru the back...I just got them in, and have not had any trouble wit it...We did the same installation for my bro's CRX a while back and it has not give him any trouble...Thanks for the comments...
