it is

"Evaporative Emission Control System leak detected in the fuel tank area"

That is basically that the gas cap may not have been tighten all the way right?

Do i need to check for anything else?

Ihad the same thing on my 98 except mine smelled of gas... it ended up being a leak in my tank... I would get it checked out.

 

I don't smell any gas, but the light did not go away after retigtening the cap. I will reset the ECU and if that does not work then take to the dealer.

Retighten the gas cap, then reset the ECU, it should go away.

Mine does the same thing, but when I leave work late at night (12:00AM-2:00AM) and I don't let the car warm up, it seems to come on again.

 

I've been driving with code 90 for almost a year now. I've reset it over 10 times. Light comes on in 2 days.
