Yes, those 16" Mugens belong on a Supra.
Please stop posting ... now.
Nice Prelude, man! very clean. Definitely love the rims and not just because they're Mugens.

nice lude, im not crazy about that rim style on the car tho. You should sell them and get something more suiting.

those wheels generally look good on older civic's and integra's, but they look VERY nice on your car with that color. great job man

Agreed
Those wheels usually look pretty swell on smaller cars (hatches/integs) but your car still looks saucy. Does the motor pull pretty hard? (Pics?)
Your generation of Ludes is the best of all the Preludes and in my opinion, one of the best "all around" cars Honda ever made.

well, i tried to keep it simple looking and since there aren't many JDM lookin preludes around i decided to make one. i'm tired of seing riced out preludes with gtr wings and bling bling. so i took of the OEM wing because it really shows off prelude's sleek lines to the fullest. just the way i like it, simple and clean.
i wanted some nice wheels but i had a very tough time deciding. there are some very nice wheels out there. but i found these and thought why the hell not... i haven't seen any of these wheels on Preludes and Accords around here. 15inch M7's are hot among civic/integra peeps, so i just wanted to represent prelude community and prove that a prelude can be done clean and JDM looking. i personally like the style of the rim, its hella rare, quality is good, and it keeps the value. so that's how they ended up on my car.
i had a 95 prelude (RIP) a few years ago and MF8's on it (yes, i know they didn't come in 4x114, but i did a 4x100 conversion). that lude was red. it looked sick.
so i may do the same with this one....

yeah, it pulls nice. my best time is 14.49sec on some crappy *** tires, full interior, and an old OEM clutch. i believe i could do better with some nice rubber, a little diet, and i have a better clutch now... i'm actually planning to boost it when i start working. i may sell the wheels to get the turbo... i've been thinking about it. but i'm not sure yet. it's quick enough for now. and here is a photo of my engine bay:
i know it looks filthy as hell, but i already cleaned it up

and that supra TT is from a good friend of mine. it's about to get transformed from a 450-ish hp beast into a 900hp MONSTER. body is either going back to stock or TRD wide body. color is probably gonna be changed back to OEM red and different wheels are gonna sport an insane dish. here is another photo:

Thanks for the motor shots
With your set up you should be well into the 14's, the new clutch and tires will definatly help get your times to where they should be.

Now you're talkin. Turbo H-Series are very swell and kick the crap out of most B-Series turbo set up's. If you are in California and are serious about a turbo setup, I have just the shop in mind that does excellent turbo work.
Anywho, once again, nice car.
