Sticky green shit on Spark plug #1

My engine has been running poorly, lots of putting around at low rpms and around turns. I pulled and cleaned all the spark plugs, and they all looked fine except cylinder #1's. There was this sticky green **** on it, not excessive but it was on it nonetheless, and it took alot of swipes with a dry towel to get it all off. Now, the engine runs beautifully except occasionally around turns it put-puts again. Really annoying. This all started when I was going around a right turn at about 25mph at a normal driving pace when I heard a loud snapping/cracking sound from the engine bay. It still ran smooth so I kept going, but then I noticed around turns that it started hesitating.
Is that green **** anti-freeze and is it pouring into the cylinder when I go around a turn and thus causing Cylinder#1 to misfire? What else could that green stuff be?
Anyone had this experience before?

why wouldn't you clean them, a couple minutes cleaning is better than driving somewhere to pay money to get new plugs

I just barely had a similar experience - my #4 spark plug turned green. It didn't have tons of buildup on it though, just mostly green colored. Later on, I started seeing coolant leaking from the headgasket, just below the distributor. You will definitly have to remove the head, and inspect the block and head mating surfaces. Chances are it's a blown headgasket, but don't take anyones word for it - pull off that head and check it out for yourself!
