H22 swap in 4th gen
Look to spend anywhere from 2500 or more for motor and labor install. Then the 5 speed conversion will run you a little more if you can find a shop to do it for a reasonable price. But for the time just do alot of researching.
Total you should need atleast 4000 bucks incase something goes wrong or you'll need to replace something
. remember that it's still gonna be stock, and I'm pretty sure your gonna want to beef it up. It's a hobby a really expensive hobby and there is no limit when it comes to these money pits.

f22 trannys have long gears. h22 are short as hell...h22 is better for aceleration. i hear people say the f22 cant handle a pounding, but ive met people that have been using them w/o any problems for awhile.
i'm doin the same exact swap even the tranny swap with it. THis one place i went to said 4000 for everything. This is including labor, shipping, parts, engine, etc. I'd say you're gonna end up spending 2300 for engine and tranny, then find someone to put it in for cheap...but thats the hard part
