Trade OR Buy 1992 Civic CX hybrid (low miles) Lower Price!!
Just lowerd the price again! starting 6/02/03 you can....
Buy this car for $6,750 with everything. Buy the car for $6,500 without the Miata rims. Runs great and will beat most cars on the road!
Also, I will deliver the car to you if we trade (so I have something to drive back in!), even if you are accross the country!
Next, the registration is paid up to $284 with DMV (CA buyers only). You are saving even more money!
Trading Information:
Trade your car and your cash, even trade or my car and my cash for your car. I have $3,000 to add to my car for yours.
Cars I would be interesed in are the following:

[*]1994+ Acura Integra[*]1992+ Honda Prelude[*]1992-2002 Honda Civic[*]1994-1997 Honda Accord[*]Other nice cars that are not Honda/Acura
Smog Information:
Now, this car will not pass CA smog at this time. I have talked with DMV and the Bureau of Auto Repair and the only option is to:

[*]Continue to get 2 month extentions on registrations (as good as your excuses are)[*]Fix the existing issues, mainly the ECU being OBD 1 (I will provide the CA referee document list)[*]"Know someone" who will pass the car for you "as is"[*]Swap a stock motor into the car, smog it, then swap the hybrid motor back in
If you are not in CA, then check with your local DMV to find out what will pass. Many states will probably be fine.
Performance Perspective:
Here is what the car can do:

[*]Dynojet chassis tested at 168.8hp@8200rpm, 114.1tq@6600rpm (see pic below)[*]Engine dyno tested at 197.2 flywheel hp@8175rpm, 133.7 flywheel tq@6650rpm
I have not run it at the track personally, here is what the previous owner, Mike K, said “Not sure about 1/4 miles, but it runs consistent 9.1's in the 1/8th mile, with my best being a 9.02@80.1mph. I got a 2.20 60ft that run.” “So it's a low low 14 second car, high 13s with a better, and lighter driver. (I am 230lbs, so the hatch is back to stock wieght with me in it, LOL)”
So…the car weighed 2194lbs at that point…it now weighs 2040lbs. Plus, take the difference of your weight and his (230lbs) and you have a decent depiction of what it may run. My guess would be mid-13’s depending on driver and weight.
Car specifications:
I bought the car off of a H-T.com member, "Mike K" last June off of the boards. He worked at Acura in Naples, FL and purchased a lot of new parts from Acura.

[*]Approximately 130,000 miles on chassis, clean title, never been hit[*]Built DOHC VTEC motor swap, set up according to Motorola Cup/Speedvision specifications by professional outfit (AutoSport South of Boca Raton, FL)[*]10.65:1 compression ratio , 8600rpm shift point, 9000rpm rev limiter[*]2001 Integra Type R cylinder head(purchased NEW from Acura in early 2002) which has ~6000 miles on it[*]2000 Civic Si shortblock(less than 10,000 miles on it when installed…which equals ~15,000 miles now) [*]Integra Type R transmission (purchased NEW from Acura 2/12/02) [*]Fidanza 8lb. aluminum flywheel[*]Integra Type R clutch (~10,000 miles on it)[*]ITR front shoks, GSR rear shocks, ITR Eibach springs (actaully Motorola Cup spec springs, specially made...can't buy otherwise)[*]Fiber Images Carbon Fiber Hood w/ hood pins (not connected to chassis however)[*]Mazda Miata OEM 14”x6.0” rims (10.5 lbs. each...lighter/wider/more unique than Civic HX wheels)[*]Sparco Ultra black bucket seats with aluminum mounts[*]Tekniq Autosport removable steering wheel (great for theft)[*]Includes door pannels, glovebox, visors, A-pillar (and rear) pannels
Click on a link below for a FULL list of what is on the car:
List #1
List #2 (duplicate)
Note: The car no longer includes the Zeal S6 suspension (sold), or the Type-1 battery (dead). The rest of the list is accurate.
E-mail me at Nylander@sbcglobal.net with ANY questions or offers (for a phone number, the VIN, whatever). Thank you very much for your time.
Note: These pics are when the car had the Zeal S6's (5/7/03 and earlier)...the car now sits higher (~stock ITR height).

here take a look i will have pics in a day! https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=518595
I need more details please. That is a confusing post...so you have a 5-speed or an auto? you have a poll about the price, yet I see no price listed...what is the milage? what motor is in there (you mentioned vtec)? condition? mods? thanks...
I might possibly be interested in a trade and work something out....https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=518340

moonroof is aftermarket, and has no motor. Thus, the only additional weight is the glass over the old sheet metal. Plus, there is less glass than an OEM moonroof (less surface area), so that is even better. Not too big of deal really.
skuby_do: nice CRX, what motor is that? from what car? sounds like a 1.5L or something? sohc or dohc? thanks. I would trade, but would need some cash with your car? what can you afford/want to include? LMK, thanks.
91hatchcivic: sure man, if you include enough cash, I just might. Your car is nice, but not something I would really want, probably buy something else, and try and sell yours...LMK what you can afford or want to include. Thanks.
