Default Cams for B20B VTEC (Normally Aspirated)

Just wanted to ask my FI friends here what their opinions are on cams. I'm looking into buying a set for my teg, something so aggressive that its on the limits of not being streetable/daily driven. What do you guys recommend. My head is fully built - although I need to find another head since this one was set for turbo - running a little sluggish in NA mode. Thanks

Extreme lift wears out the LMA's fast.
I say go with Jun 3, lots of duration instead of lift.
Use ITR LMA's.

what do you need to know?

robert is beyond busy, but we are trying to make it so you have someone to get a hold of 24/7. within the next month it will be that way, or close to it.

ef-1 is desinging new lma's with stiffer springs for running some crazy lift & duration cams

if you dont mind a bumpy idle, than most all cams are "streetable"

I've been told to get Toda C's (http://todaracing.com/products/honda...camshafts.html) - any good?

Also, i'm already running crower valvesprings and retainers with ferrea SS valves and AEM trutime camgears, but the toda spec B and spec C cams specify that you must use toda valve springs and toda cam gears. Can't I just use my existing stuff? And I think i'm gonna need some 84.25 or 84.5mm high compression forged pistons with some forged B20B rods - any help on this?

I went with 12.5 pistons on eagle rods in my B20 all motor. I have a set of Toda Spec B's (cuz i got a killer deal on them), just waiting for my toda springs to arrive now.

If you want a killer cam go with spec C's, they have the same idle/midrange power as the B's, but have more top end! they do chew up timing belts so either get the Toda Timing belt or the PE one. I wouldn't chance running anything but toda spings with those cams, although some people have had good experience with portflow/ITR combos: http://godspeed.hack.net/todafaq.html
