JRSC with CRV Crank Pulley - What Size Belts Needed???
I know this board is turbo biased for the most part but here goes. I have a 95 DX coupe with a JDM B18C (GSR) and JRSC and water injection. I have the basic kit (GSR), with no other JR upgrades besides the water injection. I just bought a new CRV crank pulley to raise the boost a little so I'm wondering what size alternator and blower belts I will need? Also, do you have any idea what level of boost it will be running with this pulley installed?

Re: JRSC with CRV Crank Pulley - What Size Belts Needed??? (mrlegoman)
I thought I recognized my prose...
Anyway, here's a run down on life with a b18c1 with JRSC and CRV pulley:
12psi on boost gauge.
About 250hp to the ground.
13.4's all day long.
I loved the car like this. It was a real blast to drive. Unfortunately, you will wear out the block if you drive like I do. After 12,000 punishing miles at stock boost, I put on a CRV pulley (along with BTC, Safeguard, Injectors, yada yada yada...).
I got 8,000 miles over two years like this, with most of those miles being driving to events and competing. Probably 500 miles in competition, driving the car to win, not to be nice on the engine.
My last event was a HPDE where I put in four 25 minute sessions redlining 3rd and 4th over and over. Shortly after this, the engine started to smoke.
Tear down shows no detonation damage at all (Thank you J&S!). However, all the oil control rings are shot and cylinders 2 and 3 are 2-3/1000" out of round now.
In my opinion, it was well worth it. When you decide, ask youself if you're prepared to repair/replace the cylinders every few years.
