LS sucks period. It's ok for turbo'ing, but not at all for going all-motor. the block has not much potential with all-motor. Import Tuner has a project teg LS. It sucks. lol. it really does. they put skunk2 cams, and did some work on it.. rofl. it's really bad still.
i would suggest going with a b16A or a b18c1 if you have enough money. much more potential in the all-motor route. Good luck.

i have a B16 right now fullybuilt all motor.. i love it... but it all depends on what you want. B16 pretty much has unlimited parts. Ls/Vtec makes great power if fixed up right. i had a friend who had that set -up and the engine was ripped out of th bay. (motor mounts turn to **** quick). i have seen B16 blownaway B18s with no problem. only problem with b16's is that no low end for ****. you would have to over bored pistons to have goodpounds of torque. thats what i did and ilove it.

just don't get the automatic.... it ******* sucks!!!! and also your tranny can't handle the power. (the auto tranny)

also you will get more respect going all motor. even more respect if your B16 is ******* decked out kicking peoples asses.

Not yet. i will next month. skunk 2 is the ****. big bang for the bucks. jun is okay. only thing with jun is that the money you spent for an extra 2 horsepower over skunk2 is not worth it. just buy the ventuile plate (spoon intake manifold gasket ) to make up that extra 2 or more HP.
