You're right, absolutely brilliant! Why didn't I think of buying dry cells in bulk, throwing some stickers on them with a cheesy-*** product name and selling them as a super-cool DRAG RACE!, ROAD RACE!, and OFF ROAD! batteries??!???!??!??!?!?

31 lbs??? They better be under $50.

 

Well, actually, your right. We bought in bulk, slapped a lame *** sticker on it and pushed it on to you by twisting your arm to buy it. Damn, why are we so hostile? Havin a bad day???

All we wanted to do was offer something that os better than anything out there. This is the same battery that Holley and Reactor used to carry, but they were cut off by the manufacturer and then the contract was given to us. By the way, this company is a military company that supplies alot of the military with their battery needs for B2 bombers, all the high end fighter jets, helicopters, etc.

By the way, we do the same thing with all opf our products. We buy Honda headgaskets in bulk, open the bore and resell them. So I guess we are just a cheesy company!!

 

Yea, I was hostile, it was the sales pitch. It was, well, lame, and it doesn't belong in this forum.

And it's not better than anything out there. At 31 lbs. you won't sell even 1 to any drag racer or road racer. I suppose I would consider buying such a battery for a street car, but only if it was priced the same as a normal replacement marine type or whatever.

So go ahead, lets hear it... how much???

Holley stoped selling that battery because it had some problems. I had one and it sucked. Deep cycle my ***. Only took once and it was dead. Even bought a trickle charger for it. Their new battery is smaller, weighs less and is supposed to be much better that the old one you are selling now.

 

Wait a second, 800cca for a race battery?? Why so much capacity just to start the engine?

Have you ever tried to start a 15-1 Compression motor? Not easy!!! Plus this has enough juice with a 90 minute reserve to keep all your race cars electronics working as they should. You know, with a Weldon pump, every volt lost causes about a 10 - 15% deacrese in pump volume and pressure. Do you really want that to happen at 8000 RPM? Boom.

Look, I was just relaying to some of you that we have a new product. If you don't like it, fine, but don't waste up space on this board to downplay anyones stuff. It takes too much time and lets everyone here know that you have way too much time on your hands. Use your time to create something. Go racing, wrench, whatever........
