Default Weird sound in the Front when turning.

Everytime I am going between 5-15 mph and turn left or right, I hear a eerrrr sound, nothing really appears to be wrong but I thought somebody might have some ideas, it only happens when I turn, not when I am going straight.

i think your axles are going bad. check the boots on your cv joints for tears and grease.

I'm currently going through this whole sorry saga on my 01 ITR.

It is currently at the dealer (Southside Honda) where they at first tried to blame my mechanic for putting the wrong oil in (he put the oil recommended by Honda in). At the moment whilst I sit here at work they are flushing out the transmission with the supposedly correct oil in the hope that it will fix it.

My mechanic said that he was pretty sure it is the LSD which is at fault - although he checked the Honda network and mine would be the first in Aus to have the issue.

All I can say is freaking dealers - always trying to rip you off or shaft you in one way or another.

that eerrRR noise, is it like a metal on metal sound? after my car got out of the shop, it did that and it ended up being the p/s pulley and p/s pump. it was bent so whenever i turned the wheel, the pulley would rub against the nut. check and see if the rotation of the pulley seems to be fine.

Just got a call from the dealer - they replaced the transmission oil and the noise went away - apparently it was the wrong type. Go figure?
