Default Can my deck work with an LCD monitor???

I have a Pioneer DEHP-2000 HU. I know it has an auxillary input on the back that can control cd changers and what not, I was just wondering if this is the same port that a monitor would plug into in order for me to get the tv's sound through my car speakers?

And if so, does anyone know where I could pick up a small lcd screen with a built in tv tuner for cheap?

Your gonna have to buy a FM modulator to have the Video sources sound go thru your Pioneer.

check here they have some good prices with decent products. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd..._ID=4713&DID=7

ok, but do you know if there is any adapter that will let me physically plug something into the back of my deck so that I don't have to tune to a station to hear it?

Well maybe someone should make one! HAHA.

I'm starting to like that fm idea though, it's pretty cool and doesn't require me to by a new deck.

So what kind of port do the new decks have on the back of them that let them work with a tv?

If the port behind your player is for a tape deck, md player input, all you need is to find the wiring diagram and use it for your tv input. I am not familiar with your head unit, but many do actually come with an aux in..... If it is strictly for a cd changer control, you may be out of luck. I am sure that if it is one of the higher end models, that port is an aux input for any line level input....

On the component single md or cd player feature, if that is what the port is in the back for then Pioneer just may have an adaptor for you. There will probably be an interrupt or signal in to automatically switch the player to aux and then the inputs. If you have the manual, find out what it says, maybe there is a pioneer website with online tutorials.....

FYI, my eclipse has a selectable rca in/out for just that exact thing. It is one of the medium level 2000 models. I am sure the pioneer would have the same feature....

Thanks, I'm gonna check out their site for cable/adapters and stuff. Check my manual when I get home... but I don't think it says anything.

Think I found it! Would this be what I need?
http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/Pi...00~90,00.html?

They don't give a good description, but it seems to be right. I'm guessing it has RCA inputs on the front but you can't see them in the picture.
