Happened 2 days ago.. i was going up a bridge and noticed 2 guys in a cream color 98 TL on my left side but they were going slow.. as i was going over the bridge i had lost sight of them and had left them behind.. by the time i was reaching the bottom of the bridge i looked in my rear view and just saw headlights coming right at me so fast that it was just BOOM, and i started to spin out.. i was going 10-15mph and i must have been hit at 50-60mph.. guy flew by so fast that my damage was caused by his tires .. and he tried to run but my friend who i was waiting for going slow was the one that chased them down and pulled them over, which was when they started throwing beer bottles out of their car into the bushes..

well they admitted to being their fault and the claim is all set up, im just waiting on the adjuster to look at the car and i will get a rental .. im so mixed up since i dont know if its going to get totalled or what .. they have Progressive..

let me know what you guys think of the damages .. im soo pissed off this had to happen when i had nothing to do with it ..

I have a feeling they will total it due to the damage all down the side. plus the suspension damage looks bad. Good luck on your next project.

sorry to say this, but I'm gonna say it's gonna get totaled.

 

if your frame is bent... most likely its totaled.

 

whatever happens i will buy the car back and proceed to strip it .. jdm parts galore .. but please dont start asking yet guys... this sucks bigtime.

Ouch! 5 lug conversion even man ! that suxs! I am glad your ok. if you chassis is not bent you should be able to repair it! if it is get a shell and put it together!

 

I'm thinking they might total it but who knows. Depends on your insurance company. Buy it back though.

 

it's not that bad damage but due to the year of the car and what has to be repaired, it is most likely totaled. Sorry to hear that man, good luck to whatever happens.

Damn Manny! Sorry to hear what happened! You shoulda called the cops on their asses! Anyways, as for the damage goes, the car is definitely totaled. I was in a similar accident with my 92 Si hatch where I got tboned and the damage didn't look as bad as yours but they totaled the car anyways. Good luck with everything though.

damn thats got to hurt, at least ur alright, but i mean these things happen for a reason, i totaled my first car, then i got the same exact one n a swap.

 

I've been rear-ended twice and both cars were a totall lost. I think yours will be to. Make sure the the you don't get screwed on the pain and suffering. The first time I was rear-ended I got $750. The second I got $5000.
