Default Turbo Type-R's check in here!

For those of you who decided to turbo... What are your afterthoughts in doing so? How reliable, drivable, and reasonable?
After all, hind sight is 20-20.
(please include your setup, kit psi, etc. - and also milage)
Thanks!

Default Re: Turbo Type-R's check in here! (oryanh)

Dont know if this helps, but my stock '94 B18C1 (in the del Sol) has about 70k miles (20k or so w/boost) on it, 10 psi with a good fuel system and the car is very reliable. Not to mention WAY faster than my ITR which can run low 14's/high 13's with ease. I'm guessing my Sol is good for low, low 13's or even high 12's on slicks.

Car weighs 2270 (wet) and has the following set up. '94 B18C1, ported & polished GSR head. AEM fuel rail, AEM fpr, RC 310cc injectors, Vortech FMU, Walbro fuel pump, DRT manifold, Turbonetics T3, Spearco intercooler, Tial BOV, Greddy wastegate, Greddy boost gauge, Drag3 piping, MSD 6AL w/coil.
