koni yellow with stock springs
are you guys using the koni with the stock springs? and if so how high does your koni yellow with stock springs ride because my rear rides pretty damn high and i dont know how to lower it. the rears are internally adjustable and i dunno how to adjust it.
help me please!
help me please!
I love my setup. Revalved Yellows and stock springs.
Ride height is approx. 1/4" lower than normal ITR ride height.
Don't know why it would be any different for yours.

make sure your koni yellows are set to the stock ride height "perches".. you should have 3 choices in the back (pick the middle one) and I think 2 in the front (pick the higher one).. good luck!

Do you have a lot of roll with this setup on a track?

The shocks wont help out body roll tremendously, but I think they did a good job. The car definately feels more planted, especially around higher speed turns (70-80mph), and I have them set at full stiff on all four for lapping days.
I highly reccommend this setup to someone who can't afford the higher end peices out there (TEIN RA/HA, Endless S6/B6, Buddy Club...).

I just put my Koni 2 way adjustable, revalved dampers on the stock springs and ran at Expo. I was damned impressed....no body roll and the ride height is stock...if you use the middle setting for the perch.....it has to to be D/S legal.
BTW, the Mugen RSX and the Coletti cars had nothing on me thru the carousel section of Beaverun when I waved them by into turn 1....I was freaking at how the car stayed settled......after the drop-off section however, it was a another (sad) story.....bye bye Mugen etc.......those cars are wicked fast.........
Anyways....Koni yellows

There might also still be a problem with big US suppliers selling the CRX shocks for the ITR. Those shocks only have a single spring perch, and it's not in the absolutely perfect position.
Research the part numbers and make sure they're sending you the right ones.
George. <-Who is still paying the price for not researching carefully and just taking a large supplier's word for it.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Thanks for the heads-up, George.
I'm in the market for some Konis and I'll definitely be checking part #s.

Yup, George is right and only until recently did they supply the externally adjustable ITR specific rear shocks.
Btw, I set them at Beaverun at 1/2 from full front and 2/3 to full rear damping and only 1 click up from full soft on the compression damping...it was enough and again those who rode with my thought I had a coil over setup.........nope...yellows (revalved) on stock springs........so nice
If I can help, let me know......it is all fresh in my mind.

i reinstalled my front right shock because it was knocking everytime i hit a bump and after reinstalling it i got the knocking to go away but now the right side sits like an inch higher then the left side. does anyone know wut i did wrong?
Hi George, can you clarify more? Now i'm a bit worried since i ordered the following just couple days ago:
8041-1152 SP3 (Neuspeed series) for front
8041-1164 Sport for rear (the new externally adjustable ones)
Would this new rear shocks have the problem that you mentioned?
Also this would go on with h&r sport spring....
Also, is the above 2 way adjustable (both compress and rebound?). The koni website seems to says rebound adjustable only?
