Default Radiator swap.

I'm ditching the stock single core civic radiator in favor of the larger dual core intergra radiator. Is there any modification that needs to be done to the car or the radiator? Does the new radiator require a integra radiator hose (or are the ones on my civic the same?) Thanks

integra hoses are needed yes as far as mods to the car not too dificult

hammer old brackets out with cold chissel

make 2 brackets 2x8 or so (home depot aluminum strip)

drill 2 holes one big enough for a 10mm bolt and one at the other end big enough for stand on radiator

on top part take integras brackets flip them upside down

if you need closer pics ill get em

youll have to tap 10 mm holes in the top

took me less than an hour

Thanks for the awesome details man, unfortunatly I live in the not-so-great state of Texas. Anyways are those modifications necessary if the new radiator is going into a 2000 Si? Thanks again!

I think 18 is for a automatic..cooling hose.
13 and 14 are just hose brackets for the lower hose. Most of the time that are on mounted to the tranny..Just to hold it in place..I dont have mine.

Yes! I too am wondering what these are. These small hoses are not connected to the main system, do they take up a lot of core space? Are they for an automatic trans?

Because that would be like a single core Integra..If you get a dual core integra then you got 4 times the cooling fins as a stock single core civic.....I think
