Tom @ Portflow
Tom @ Portflow
joe @ alaniztechnologies.com
but can't argue that portflow is really good, too... i just happened to be really close to Joe, and one of my friends knew him personally.

You can't go wrong with any of the three mentioned: Portflow, Alaniz or DPR. I would have a well thought out plan of what mods you wanna use also. These guys will ask you what your plans/mods will be. I think Topspeed in Naples can do it for you also. Ask some of the FL guys/Mike K.. Good luck..
just out of curiosity, what type of gains can be expected from a full port/polish leaving all internals stock... i'm sure that with a full valvetrain and high comp the hp can really be incresed though.

I can't necessarily say that Alaniz is worth the extra money over someone like Portflow, but Joe spent a ton of time with me on the phone talking over what I wanted to do - he called surprisingly often to update me on the status - I'd definitely carry more work back to him.

How much hp can be gained by port and polish with stock internals. I called portflow guy on the phone gave no info and was very rude. He said they cant even look at until 4-6 weeks. I cant make an appointment and my guess is better than his when i asked him how much hp.

your numbers will vary on what type of port/polish you get (race only/street setup/clean up of head), how much you mill it (if you do that at all), and your modifications.
