my R block has arrived
as a few of you know...i bent 2 rods in my b16a3...due to sucking up water.
so i ordered a BRAND NEW B18C5 Block...it arrived today...will go into my car this weekend.
edited that...
and as far as the intake...it was more of a freak accident although this time i will be running a COMPTECH airbox.
**i will have more pictures after the block is delivered...
and i got this from "bert-0" in sarasota at gettel acura.

it is complete...
to the best of my knowledge acura does not sell a complete longblock...
ie the head comes, the block comes...and everything would need to be assembled and built...

2200 - 2400 is good. i bought the same short block but i bought it for 2800. i feel like crap cause i got f***ed. actually not really cause i never put it in and sold it to a friend for the same price i got it for. anyways good luck on the project.

SO IS THAT WHY YOU HAD SOME STUFF FOR SALE?
Chet, nice purchase, your car is gonna rip AND be reliable as ever with that new bottom end in there!

Re: my R block has arrived (owen_the_soyboy)
i am now selling a p30 and the ICEMAN CAI because of this swap.
i no longer need the usdm p30, and the iceman CAI is going to be sold in favor of a comptech airbox.
and owen, there is a "hondaswap/honda-tech/clubsi meet" in northwestern connecticut next month. i might drive up from florida (as my parents live in falls village). you should swing down if you have the chance to do so...as a few honda-tech members will be there.

Re: my R block has arrived (Quik Chris)
yes, according to several fast guys in this area (all with 12 second all motor honda's) the R block is the way to go.
its assembled by honda and has 0 miles on it. that means with proper treatment and proper tuning the motor will be reliable for 50-75k miles. now i'll be driving it...and i'm extremely hard on everything...so if this lasts me 40k miles i'll be happy enough.
i plan on road racing this car at lime rock park, moroso, sebring and roebling road...along with other road courses in this region.
