on obd-1 honda civics, the cx is a one wire o2 sensor. Other models are 4 wire. The wideband sensor is five wire sensor. Mase on this board uses a techedge unit interfaced with his ems There are other members but he comes to mind. I would im if you have any questions about it since he has direct experience.

the one that is pictured is a five-wire sensor, which is what you would need for the techedge unit. the techedge v1.5 has a 0-5v linear output, which is what you would need to interface with the AEM EMS

Basicaly you cant just plug a wideband o2 sensor DIRECTLY into your EMS with some sort of cable. It first has to go through the wideband controller which turns the signal from 02 sensor into a output that the EMS can use. Heres a ghetto diagram:
wideband 02 sensor ----> wideband 02 sensor controller ------> aem ems
The wideband o2 sensor is the wideband sensor required for your controller.
The controller can be say motec, FJO, techedge, proactive etcetc...
That should give you the general idea

honda doesn't have any wideband, it's the Wideband Oxygen Sensor. all you need to do is buy the Wideband Oxygen Sensor, and TechEdge WB Controller....then you're set to go.
good luck.
